Last month (January 2024) my wife and I had Rob and Phil remodel our master bathroom. The quality of all aspects of their work was exceptional. They have very high personal standards of performance, and they take whatever time is necessary to meet those standards. We are very pleased with the finished product. Our remodel process was pretty painless because Phil and Rob were extremely neat and organized. My wife believes they have the cleanest drop cloths anywhere! Every day we had a good deal of interaction with both brothers, and they were always friendly, personable, and considerate. During our project a winter storm and a medical emergency arose. Rob and Phil went “above and beyond” in supporting my wife and keeping the remodel on track. We recommend Phil and Rob as highly as possible, both as craftsmen and as people!
My windows and doors were in poor condition which I had Advance replace. Come to find out both doors were installed poorly from builder. Advance did an incredible job installing the new doors. New windows and doors made a significant difference to comfort level in my home. Also had front of home pressure washed and painted. What a difference that made to my curb appeal. My house looks like new. Outstanding job gentlemen!
Rob and Phil are as professional as a company can get. I reached out last year and unfortunately they were backed up and unable to get to me as quickly as I had hoped. Even though I was looking to get my windows and sliding glass door replaced last year they took the time to answer any and all questions I had. They were able to provide me details as to how the correct way to remove and install my type of windows. Due to this customer service, I decided to wait until this year to have them provide an estimate. Their pricing was just as good, if not better, than the estimates that I received last year. My windows and sliding glass door were installed a few weeks early, too! If you are looking for a family owned business who is going to take their time to make sure everything is completed the right way the first time stop your research now…you will not find a better company than Advance Home Remodelers. After getting 3 estimates, we hired Advance Home Remodeling to remodel the primary bathroom in our home. We selected them because the proposed cost was acceptable but more importantly we found them to be the most professional, organized and personable contractors we interacted with. They provided input when we were selecting materials and were very responsive when we called/texted with questions during the planning process. The day the plumber came, they were on site as well and helped us navigate an unexpected issue. As disruptive as a major renovation can be, they worked efficiently and left the work area tidy and organized each night before they left. They were in our home every day for several weeks and we appreciated getting to know them through the process. We are very happy with their work, which was completed on-time and on-budget.
Rob and Phil (Advance Home) remodeled two bathrooms for me. They did an excellent job, I highly recommend their company. I have 2 new showroom bathrooms.

We purchased a new storm door and garage door opener from the Yorkville Menards. The fellow at the millwork center recommended Advance and a couple of other contractors and said they all do good work. That certainly was the case with Advance. We are under some time restraints and they got here promptly and did a professional job getting our projects done.
They get a 5-Star rating from me.
Advance Home Builders does an amazing job. I have had 14 windows replaced at my home. The detail of removing the siding, so the windows are installed the same as new construction, is not done by the “window” companies. When they were done, we did not even need a dust rag inside the house. Fantastic workmanship and attention to detail.
Rob and Phil did a beautiful job on new windows in our Plainfield Home.
My husband was sick at the time and the respect they showed us for our privacy was unbelievable. I would recommend them to anyone.

Best contractors we have ever had hands down. Would highly recommend. Replaced six windows hardly knew they were there. Getting six more next spring!
I had two new doors measured/installed. My house is a older home so the Old doors frames were much thicker. I had Home Depot give me a estimate which was (very high$)and was told I had to special order doors to fit that depth of opening.
So I went to MENARDS for 2nd estimate on the doors.They referred me to Rob &Phil.they came out measured and made these standard size doors fit without removing interior trim and also adjusted them to accommodate the height of the tile floor. I had a existing storm door also to remove/reinstall,they also had to alter it to fit the new door. These guys are the BEST very professional very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMENDED (September 2017)
We had Rob and Phil do a bathroom remodel for us last fall and had them back this summer to replace all of our windows and sliding patio door. Already looking for reasons to have them back. They could not be more conscientious, thorough, painstaking, clean, or professional. As others have said, they will patiently answer all of your questions with a deep background of knowledge and experience and with absolute honesty. Pricing is fair and you will be happy with the end result. (June 2017)
They did an amazing job installing a new sliding door. It turned out way better than I expected! I will be using them again in the future for some additional work that needs to be done.
Phil and Rob installed a new front door, storm door and cleaned up some deteriorated wood around the entry way this fall. They were very prompt and professional. Enjoyed their company and they did and excellent job. Would highly recommend them for any home project. Great job guys.
We needed to have our sliding glass door and basement Windows replaced and Rob and Phil were recommended to help us out. We met with them and immediately felt comfortable with them. They were friendly and professional and refreshingly honest. We hired them to install our door and Windows and they did amazing work. Everything done on time, no hidden unexpected costs and they left the house cleaner than when they arrived. We definitely use them again and recommend them to all of our friends!!

Rob and Phil were total pros and extremely helpful during our recent window replacements. They answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns and gave us a great price too! We wouldn’t hesitate to call them for any remodeling job.FYI they replaced our largef foyer picture window and half dozen transoms with broken seals with energy efficient replacements. They took care of everything and set up the final village inspection. Thanks again!
Absolutely spectacular work! We hired Rob and Phil to bring our old cedar deck back to life. Every detail of their work from deconstruction to design and rebuild was meticulous. They were a pleasure to deal with. Answered all our questions and were prompt and professional. Very pleased and looking forward to having them do other work on our home. Thanks!!
Thanks to Rob and Phil for the excellent work they did on replacing rotting molding on my front porch and other molding on the house. They were very skilled and exacting. They were prepared with everything they needed when they came. They were very neat and detail oriented. They even searched out and picked up even the tiny pieces of wood that had fallen in the grass! Terrific! They repaired our damaged deck which I actually considered doing on my own(what was I thinking?). We are beyond happy that we found Advance and hired Rob and Phil. These two and the work they perform is all the evidence you need to hire those who know what they’re doing! Good, hard working, knowledgeable folks who take a lot of pride in their talents. My exact comments to my wife were “I am so happy we chose to hire these guys, and we could never do any work that would come anywhere close to their skills”. After having my front door system replaced by a team from that “depot”, which was an epic fail in order process and validation of requirements, I hired Rob and Phil on recommendation from where I ordered the replacement for the replacement door system. Rob and Phil came out for a review of the installation measures to validate and verify that what was being ordered would fit and was within code, as well as to review the intricacies of the target install. While they were here, I asked them to check a door I had installed (after kicking it in), and we added that to the project. Execution of the smaller project installation was a clear indicator of their craftsmanship and professionalism and it validated my choice to have them install the door system. Installing the door system went off with a very professional execution and I am very happy with the results. Rob and Phil are very adept at addressing the challenges of a sites specific requirements and adapting to dynamics that can arise during their work. Any deviances were discussed and handled.
Given future projects I plan to utilize Advance Home Remodelers & Services where applicable and available.
My husband and I hired Rob and Phil (Advance Home Remodelers & Services) to install windows throughout our entire house and porch, siding around our garage and service door, a beautiful deck and 3 new doors and 2 storm doors. We are extremely pleased and impressed by the expert quality and professionalism shown to us by Rob and Phil. They are very hardworking, friendly, and very organized. When they are done everything is spotless. There are no words that can possibly describe how Wonderful Rob and Phil are and what an expert job they do. Phil and Rob are very skilled craftsmen! The front porch they repaired on our 135 year old house looks great! They went beyond our expectations. Other contractors said that they couldn’t do this and they couldn’t do that but Rob and Phil put their heads together and came up with the perfect plan. I wish we had met them years ago. Phil installed our front storm door and replaced a screen in a patio slider door. He was extremely professional, courteous, and efficient. And, we were very satisfied with the price and work. We will contact Advance Home Remodelers for future planned renovations.
Rob and Phil did an outstanding job on our deck. They are two very hard working individuals who put a lot of pride into their work. The deck that they built for our family was done in a efficient and professional manner. The outcome was more than I could have asked for, and we continue to get compliments from our neighbors on the craftsmanship that is evident within the final product.
We have had 10 windows replaced and a leaking garage door reset. Other than some grass blades being bent, you would not know they were here. The drywall around all the windows had to be cut back about 1 inch. They did not leave any mess and you would not know they were in the house working. They love what they do and it shows in the pride they have and the attention to detail they demonstrate. (July 2015)

We are extremely happy with the bathroom remodel completed by Rob and Phil. I feel like I’m showering in a fancy hotel! They went out of their way to make sure the products they installed were of the finest quality, and I truly appreciated their attention to detail. UMMM … what words would describe Rob & Phil? How about Wonderful,professional,hardworking. These are just a few words that describe this incredible team. They came in to replace our sliding glass patio door. It was quite a job with residing the portion of the house that needed matching up as well. Not only did they do a beautiful job, watching them work as a team was something you don’t see everyday. When it was time to leave I could not believe the attention they gave to the clean up. Cannot say enough.Great work guys!!! Will call you again!!

We recently had a detached two-and-a-half car garage with a loft constructed adjacent to our house. Rob and Phil were responsible for the roofing, cedar siding and trim, service door, windows, and gutters and we can’t say enough about what great work they did. From the time they staged their materials to start the job to the time they finished and packed up we could not have asked for a better pair of guys to work with. They were very organized and neat around the job site, provided excellent communications, paid great attention to detail, and the quality of their work is second to none. Plus, they are just darn good guys! We would highly recommend Advance for your home services needs and we will certainly use them again for future projects.

I am so impressed by the quality of work as well as the professionalism, neatness, work ethic and friendly demeanor that both Rob and Phil demonstrated today while installing my door, storm door and frame. I honestly can’t say enough about how refreshing it was to have quality work for a reasonable price. Actually, I haven’t had such quality workmanship in many years. Rob just completed building my deck and I cannot say enough about how it turned out. I had an idea on how I wanted it to look, and where other contractors told me it couldn’t be done, or offered to build it another way, Rob not only figured out how to make it work, he added a few extras. Last fall we had Rob & Phil put new gutters on our home and repair a picture window in our family room. We were so impressed with their work that when we decided to replace the dining room picture window and one in the kitchen this spring they were our only call. We would not hesitate to call on them again or to recommend them to our friends.
We hired Advance to do a complete bathroom remodel, a new patio door, entry door, and new balusters and a gate for our porch, so our two dogs could sit out there with us and still be contained without leashing them. Their tile work is truly beautiful, and we were not only impressed by their skill, neatness, and professionalism, but also by how well they worked around our crew of critters (two dogs & one cat) while we were at work! They also switched gears when our closet organizer took a tumble, and fit that repair into their schedule that very same day.
